The following table gives guideline Crop factors (evaporation replacement rates) for a range of vegetables grown on the Swan Coastal Plain, Western Australia.

Daily irrigation requirement can be calculated as follows:

Water requirement (mm) = Evaporation (mm) x Crop factor
